Mindful Movement & Learning Camp
Led by education specialist and yoga teacher, Samantha Diver, Mindful Movement & Learning is a one-of-a-kind summer camp featuring nature walks, themed yoga, and mindfulness activities to improve self-esteem, self-regulation, connection and executive functioning skills for students entering grades 1 through 8.
Throughout the one week-long program, students will explore:
- Self-esteem building, resiliency, community, friendship, equality and love
- Yoga, creative movement, games and songs
- Techniques for managing stress and emotions, improving focus and relaxation
- Executive-functioning skills like planning, prioritizing, organizing, remembering and executing
- Reflection, journaling, arts and crafts
Campers registered for separate morning and afternoon programs in the same week will receive complimentary gap care, which includes a supervised lunch/recess break from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Campers bring their own lunch and snacks. After care is available with this camp for an additional fee of $25 per day and will run from 3:00-5:00 p.m. When registering for this camp, please note whether your camper will need after care.

Payment must be made in full when registering.
Grades 1 – 4 Session: June 24 – 28, 2024, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Grades 5 – 8 Session: August 19 – 23, 2024, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
About The Instructor:
In addition to being a yoga teacher, Samantha Diver has been an outstanding leader in the field of education. Samantha has been a director of school, classroom teacher, reading specialist, math specialist and executive functioning skills coach. She has incorporated social-emotional learning through mindfulness into all areas of her curriculums. Teaching mindfulness has improved her connection with students and improved students’ emotional regulation, focus, and engagement. Samantha is certified through Breathe for Change, Yoga Ed Professional Institute I; Foundations of Teaching Children’s Yoga at Kripalu; Kula for Karma – Advanced training for Mental Health: Trauma and Addiction and Mindful Schools. Samantha Diver is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School.
