The College School
An Afternoon of English Language Arts Camp
Campers will continue their exploration of physics and science through a literacy lens. Campers will keep their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills sharp throughout the summer by engaging in a series of literacy workshops throughout the week. Students will engage with authentic texts centered around STEAM topics to build knowledge, grow vocabulary, deepen comprehension, and collaborate with peers in standards-based activities. Students will expand their writing skills through grammar games, short and long writing, and work together to publish a showcase of the exciting Physistry activities from the morning camp! This program is designed for rising 7 and 8 graders.
Students will benefit from individualized instruction in a low student/teacher ratio setting, resulting in increased confidence, motivation, and skills as they prepare to begin their school year.
After care is available with this camp for an additional fee. When registering for this camp, please note whether your camper will need aftercare.
This camp is for rising 7th and 8th graders.
Cost: $200
Payment must be made in full when registering.
