Hello Families! We hope everyone had a great week back to school after spring break!

A few announcements for the week:

Meet and Greet with our incoming Director: Mrs. Andrea Glowatz will be joining our STEAM night on May 11 from 5pm-7pm. Please stop by and say hello!

Testing timeline update: Weeks of May 1st and May 8th – MAP testing will be scheduled by individual classroom teachers.  Students will take Reading, Language Usage, and Mathematics assessments. May 15th – 19th and May 22 – 23 – TerraNova tests will be administered each morning.  If a student misses a day of TerraNova testing, makeup sessions will be scheduled in the afternoon or later in the week.

Spirit Gear: TCS spirit wear is finally available! The store will only be open until May 1 (the original date of May 5 had to be moved up). This is a FIRM store closing date. Please be sure to place your orders soon! The more that the College School community orders, the price goes down. You will be charged once the final orders are received. A flyer is being sent home with a QR code and is also attached. The links are here:

Contracts and deposits: Contracts have been emailed. Please return the contract and deposit by today – Monday at the very latest.

Autism Acceptance Week: Next week we will recognize Autism Acceptance week with a series of theme days.
** Monday – Team Up For Autism – Wear your favorite team jersey
**Tuesday – Be An Individual – Wear something that represents what you love (a band t-shirt, a favorite animal t-shirt, your favorite color, etc.)
**Wednesday – Accept others and put bullying to bed – PJ Day
**Thursday – Blend Together for Autism – Unify with Tie-Dye Clothing
**Friday – Represent The Rainbow – Together we make a rainbow

Closing Ceremonies: Just a reminder to mark your calendars for our closing ceremonies on June 8. We are hosting the closing ceremonies at a new location this year – the STAR campus Audion. More details to come.

Asbestos management: The University is required to test for asbestos annually under the Asbestos Emergency Hazard Response Act (AHERA). The report for 2023 is attached. There is no asbestos present in the building.
