Parent Volunteer Opportunities:
At The College School, we strongly encourage parent and family involvement. TCS Home Connection exists to support The College School as our children grow and learn in this unique environment.

Not only is TCS a special place because of our exceptional teachers and innovative programs, but also because of the strong sense of family that exists here. We ask that you consider how you can be a part of the continuing improvement and involvement at TCS.

Homeroom Parent(s):
A Parent Volunteer is requested for Homerooms.  The parent(s) supports the homeroom teacher in activities that enhance student instruction and social experiences. The Homeroom Parent assists the teacher with “groundwork” on special class projects that may require activities such as copying, organizing, cutting, gluing and other basic preparation skills, as well as homeroom social activities and events.  The parent volunteer may also assist the teacher by recruiting/coordinating volunteers for the above activities.

Special Event Volunteers:
The Special Event Volunteers assist in the planning of various special events for our children and their teachers.  These volunteers may provide planning and support for social gatherings throughout the school year. Special Events responsibilities may include recruitment of volunteers to support planned events such as Healthy Heart Day, guest readers for “I Love to Read Month”, Teacher Appreciation Week, and MORE.

Fundraising Volunteers:
The Fundraising Volunteers are responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting various special events to raise money for The College School.  Annual events may include facilitation of programs such as: our Scholastic Book Fair, Dine and Donate, Passive Fundraising (Loyalty Programs), Box Tops for Education, TCS Annual Used Book Sale and MORE.

These events may include collaborating with the TCS Leadership Council to coordinate a broad based community event. Funds  raised will be deposited into The College School Educational Fund, which will directly impact educational opportunities for our TCS children.
