The College School

March 26, 2020

Dear College School Families,

I hope that you and your families are staying well and weathering the storm brought about by the COVID-19 situation. On March 24, UD President Assanis announced that faculty and staff of the University of Delaware would be working at home until May 15, 2020, or until the threat posed by COVID-19 has been eliminated. While The College School (TCS) facility will remain closed until that time, TCS staff is still providing a variety of services.

Our teachers and staff will continue delivering online instruction to keep students engaged, both academically and socially. We have already experienced success in our approach to virtual learning, however, we will continue to innovate our practices as we cultivate a balanced program for your children.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during what continues to be a time of uncertainty. We are in active conversations with University administration regarding questions and financial concerns. We are aware and regret that these operational changes may prove challenging for many of you. We will continue to provide operational updates as they become available.

Please know that we are thinking of your family during this difficult time. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
